Bursary applications for the 2025 school year are open. Please be patient with us as we currently have 200+ applications to go through, we will email you with further questions, next steps or with our regrets. You will hear from us before the end of October.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ONLY GIVE BURSARIES TO STUDENTS APPLYING FOR FSA COLLEGE.
Do not submit a bursary application unless you are passionate about studying at Film School Africa College in Somerset West (Cape Town) - a Christian institution. Please note that you will be required to live on campus for 2, potentially 3, years. Please also note that every student who receives a bursary is expected to contribute in some way based on his/her ability. This amount fluctuates based on your financial situation, please see the college tab for more clarity. It is quite reasonable, but will require some sacrifice and effort from you.
Bursary applications are due before September 15th for the following school year! Our applications are now closed for 2025.
If you have questions or have any problems with the Bursary Application Form please contact applications@filmschoolafrica.org - if you filled out your application prior to September 15th, but still needed to add bank statements for your support network, you can still do so at the email above. Please make sure you include the name of the student that the statements are connected to as names on the account and the student named might differ.
